Take Note: New parking restrictions are now in effect on Sunset Road near K’hal Zichron Yaakov’s driveway.
Lakewood’s Township Committee on Thursday night voted on the parking ordinance which prohibits stopping or standing at all times on the east side of Sunset Road from the northeast curb line of Sunset Road and Liberty Drive starting at a point of 314 feet and extending 100 feet in a northerly direction.
Representatives of the shul reached out to Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit to request the parking restriction in an effort to increase safety for drivers entering and exiting the shul driveway.
