Trenton Dem’s vote on billions of dollars without any of the bill language available to the public

Jun 22, 2021 329 2 0

MORE OF DEM’s GAMES: Trenton Democrats voted today on some of the most consequential bills of the year – without any of the bill language available to the public

The majority democrats on a Senate Committee today advanced several massive bills —including spending billions of state and federal dollars, ending a ban on evictions and foreclosures, changing rules governing lucrative tax breaks —all without having the final bill text online for the public to view!

What is all this spending for? Who knows. The bills don’t even exist on the legislature’s website.

Brad Schnure, spokesperson for Senate Republicans blasted the move, saying “the text wasn’t available to legislators either as the bill was still being drafted. They literally voted on a $100+ million spending bill that didn’t yet exist. That’s the Democrats’ idea of transparency!”

This is all we saw before the big votes. The bills were still “pending intro”!
