Drivers must stop for pedestrians crossing at a marked crosswalk. Never pass a vehicle stopped at a crosswalk. When stopping for a crosswalk on a multi-lane road, stop 30 feet before the crosswalk to avoid blocking visibility of a motorist in the second lane.
