HORRIFIC: Denver Yeshiva Bachur shot and killed R”L, levaya in Lakewood 11:00 PM; Watch Live

A horrific incident has occurred early morning in Denver, Colorado, LNN has learned.

A 19 year old Yeshiva Bachur standing outside The Denver Yeshiva, Yeshiva Toras Chaim, was suddenly and randomly shot and killed by a drive by shooting.

The unknown perpetrator has fled the scene as police are investigating and searching.

Denver Police put out a flyer that they are looking for three vehicles including a stolen vehicle which seems to be connected to this incident and to two other shooting incidents that happened in the same area.

The Yeshiva Bachur will be identified once his family has been notified.

The Levaya and Kevura is planned to take place later today at the Lakewood Bais Olam on 7th Street.

Exact Levaya details will be posted once available.

UPDATE: The Yeshiva Bachur has been identified as Shmuel Silverberg Z”L of Cleveland, Ohio. Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.

UPDATE: The Levaya of Habachur Shmuel Silverberg Z”L will take place tonight, 11:00 pm, at the 7th st Chapel. Kevura will be in Lakewood. B’suros Tovos.
