The Denver Police Department announced this afternoon that late last night on August 18th 2021 the police department took into custody four suspects in the metro Denver crime spree that began Tuesday evening and left Habachur Shmuli Silverberg HY”D tragically killed.
At this time in the investigation, it appears that the victims were targeted at random says the police department, therefore, the homicide near the Yeshiva Toras Chaim where Habachur Shmuli Silverberg Z”L was shot dead, does not appear to be biased motivated, said the police department.
This brings questions as newly information has been released today that Habachur Shmuli Silverberg HY”D was actually shot and killed in the Yeshiva building and it wasn’t a drive-by shooting. Shots were reportedly also fired at the menahel which missed their target. Reports also suggested that a total of 12 shots were fired into Shmuli R”L and he was standing feet away from the Bais Medrash.
