The long abandoned grid system, with which normal places build infrastructure to support the housíng and industrial areas must be brought back. The township must start paving whatever paper streets are left. Ban new cul de sacs that prevent thoroughfares. The township must buy land and pave streets to open up bottlenecks.

At the rate (speed) of how the the township/county/state is going on fixing our traffic/accident issue. Self driving cars would be the most realistic solution. 🙁😥

The township could give a hoot about safety. They’ve proven that over and over again.
      It’s shameful.

Start enforcing cell phone driving and illegal turns, including right turns on red without stopping.

Here is my theory and i would love to have a conversation about it.
The accident rate started to raise drastically once more people from NY started moving in to the surrounding areas. While i love NY people, they do come with a certain driving attitude.
Most NY’ers know how to drive offensively, aggressively and defensively. Hence the reason why there are not so many accidents in NY. In situations where there should have been an accident, the defensive part kicked in & avoided that accident.
Here in lakewood, most LKWD’ers, dont know how to drive offensively, aggressively or defensively.
Comes an offensive/aggressive NY driver, which is used to defensive & offensive drivers, he pulls an aggressive move & the LKWD’ers doesnt have the experience to react in time.
Furthermore, LKWD’ers are trying to drive offensively without knowing how to which causes him/her to do an offensive move which in reality is a reckless move.
There is a thin line between reckless & offensive/aggressive

Cousin marriage needs to end. It leads to poor decision making and below average hand eye coordination. Science.

    1) Longer and Harder road tests.
    2) Some people need to be more helpful at home, so not everything falls on the other spouse and can’t focus while driving < True fact
Daily scenarios, car packed with kids screaming mom or dad on a important phone call, while needing to make quick one second decision = crash.
Holding a phone is illegal, but there is not always a choice.

    No Phones while driving!!!!!
EVERYONE is on the phone in this town!
Police must be more strict and give heavy fines.
Also should be harder to get a driver’s license.
