Governor Phil Murphy reportedly raised $100,000 at a private fundraiser held in his honor last week at the home of Lakewood Township Committeeman and fellow Democrat Meir Lichtenstein.
The Governor spent approximately 7 hours in Lakewood going to both public and private events, although his schedule was not released to the public in advance.
During his visit the Governor reassured his commitment to fight against hate targeted towards the Jewish communities. But unlike his Republican Challenger Jack Ciattarelli, the Governor has not posted anything about his visit to Lakewood on his social media pages, when he usually does post about his campaign stops.
