BD”E: Petirah of Harav Herschel Waxman Z”L, Rosh Kollel D’Monsey

It is with great sadness that LNN reports the Petirah of Harav Tzvi Elimelech (Herschel) Waxman Z”L. He was niftar tonight in Lakewood at the age of 96 years old.

Harav Herschel Waxman Z”L lived in Monsey, N.Y. and was a long time Rosh Kollel at Bais Medrash D’Monsey where he was Marbitz Torah for decades.

Rabbi Waxman Z”L leaves behind 5 children, R’ Zishe Waxman (Brooklyn), Mrs. Simi Greenes (Lakewood), Mrs. Charna Minzer (Lakewood), Mrs. Rifky Kutner (Lakewood) Pinchos Waxman (Lakewood) and hundreds of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who live in the Lakewood area.

The Levaya will take place 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, Zos Chanukah at Bais Medrash D’Monsey, 3 Harvest Ct., Monsey N.Y., and will go from there to Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.

The family will be sitting Shiva in Monsey at 1 Harvest Ct.
