Rabbi Yehuda Yosef Podolsky, director of Camp Machane Yehuda, a summer camp that’s well known to thousands in Lakewood, is stepping down from his position, LNN has learned.
In a statement obtained by LNN, Rabbi Podolsky writes that he is very greatful to HKB”H for giving him the Zechus of starting the Camp and running it for the past 13 years to what it has become today, adding that he is not stepping down literally, but actually stepping up to a new chapter, not mentioned in the statement.
Rabbi Podolsky founded the Camp in 2009 with the name Camp Iggud Hayeshivos which later transformed into Camp Machane Yehuda. The Mesivta Camp is located upstate in the Catskill mountains and is well known for its well balanced structured learning and sports programs. The Camp served as a home to thousands of Lakewood Yeshiva Bachurim and beyond over the years. It’s unknown to LNN who will replace Rabbi Podolsky.
Rabbi Podolsky is credited for providing a Torah’dige camp experience to thousands of Lakewood Bachurim as well as helping dozens of other camps with guidance and operating successfully.

Dec 17, 2021When someone is well known for years in an industry don’t you think they should notify the hundreds or thousands of people that rely on them that they are leaving?
