The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the entire Ocean County including Lakewood, as well as other New Jersey areas, in effect from 4:00 AM untill 4:00 PM on Monday.
Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 3-5 inches inches with winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
Travel could be very difficult and the hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight food, and water, in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
