Edward Durr, the Republican truck driver who defeated Senate President Steve Sweeney has taken the oath of office and was sworn in yesterday assuming Sweeney’s seat representing New Jersey’s 3rd Legislative District.
Durr seems fired up more than ever to put an end to mandates and masking children.
“I am proud to accept this great honor that the people have given me,” said Durr (R-3). “I look forward to serving my community and South Jersey in the New Jersey Senate.”
Durr, a resident of Logan Twp. in Gloucester County, was sworn-in during the reorganization of the New Jersey Senate on January 11, 2022.
The 3rd District includes parts of Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties.
