As previously reported on LNN, the famous Dollar Tree stores have started going up to 1.25 at several locations around the country but not yet in Lakewood and Toms River.
Now that will be coming to an end starting Tomorrow morning, LNN has been told by the Lakewood and Toms River branches.
Inflation is hitting hard – really hard, so hard that the world famous Dollar Tree is being forced to higher their price from $1 to $1.25.
Dollar Tree has been charging $1 for the bulk of their items since they were founded in 1986.
Dollar Tree is a publicly traded company and is selling on NASDAQ for $142.84 a share, as of today.
The American chain store is headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, and operates 15,288 stores in the United States and Canada.
If you’d like to have your last real Dollar Tree experience where you will pay just $1 for a bulk of their items, you can still run over to the Lakewood branch at 1700 Madison Avenue or the Toms River branch at 2360 Lakewood Road until 6:00 p.m. today before they close for the last time while priced at just $1.
