On Saturday April 30, 2022, the Jackson Police Department will be taking part in the DEA National Take Back Day.
Detectives will be available in the lobby of Police Headquarters from 10 am – 2 pm to assist residents who are seeking to dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications.
Any medications being disposed of in its original container, residents are reminded to remove any personal indentifying information from the lable. Liquid medications, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in its original container with the cap tightly sealed to prevent leakage.
Intra-venous solutions, injectables and syringes will not be accepted.
