Drivers beware: High activity season has begun for deer, meaning erratic behavior and vehicle strikes are more common. Be alert while driving, especially during the hours of dusk and dawn.

Perhaps rejected by his deer, a deer jumped from an overpass and crashed through a windshield in New Jersey yesterday.
It happened Wednesday in the southbound lanes of Route 21 just before 8 a.m. Police said the deer jumped or fell off of the Route 3 overpass before landing in the driver's lap. The impact caused the driver to strike a concrete barrier and crash into another vehicle traveling southbound. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
I doubt the deer was insured, but, maybe he survived if he landed in the guy's lap
