The rumblings of a potential Lakewood visit by Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley are afoot. Few need to be reminded that Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, weathered severe backlash as she stood up courageously for Israel in her former position as UN Ambassador.

Belaaz News first reported the possibility of a Lakewood campaign stop on Thursday, and LNN has confirmed the discussions with askanim involved in the matter. But nothing is set in stone. The decision to bring Haley to Lakewood will depend on the progress of her campaign.

Presently, Haley's polling numbers are in single digits, trailing behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Haley participated in an Orthodox Jewish fundraiser and policy discussion hosted by leading members of the Jewish community in New York on February 27th.
